Traineeship Pathways
Apprentices and Trainees Queensland endeavour to find and place people of all ages in Apprenticeships and Traineeships without costs being incurred by the Trainee or Apprentice.
Business Administration
This course provides you with practical skills to work in many office and business roles. Job prospects could include Junior personal assistant, Office Assistant, Accounts Clerk and Receptionist. Cert III Business Administration is a 12 month Traineeship.
Aged Care Worker
Aged care assistants carry out daily activities in residential facilities to maintain the personal care & independence of the elderly. Training includes some of the following:
First Aid, Palliative Care, Personal support, Safety procedures, Health care, Food services. Cert III Individual Support is a 12 month Traineeship.
Beauty Therapist
An entry level course for those who wish to work as a beauty therapist or make up artist. Training includes lash and brow services, design and apply makeup, manicures and pedicures and salon services. Cert III Beauty Services is a 2 year Traineeship.
Process Plant Operations
A traineeship in Process Plant Operations is an ideal way to commence a career in the hydrocarbon or refinery industries. Whether working in resource refining plants, smelters, oil refineries or gas processing facilities, trainees will learn a broad range of skills for a pathway into fulfilling careers. This is a 2 year Certificate III traineeship in Process Plant Operations.
Supply Chain Operations (Warehousing)
This 2 year traineeship is for those engaged in supply chain operations and includes specialisations for logistics and warehouse operations. This traineeship involves problem solving and can be physical. Opportunities exist within retail, commercial and industrial companies along with the mining industry.
