Introducing Wiggins Island Coal Export Terminal Pty Ltd (WICET), a visionary project that unites experienced users and operators in the bulk commodity ports industry.
Located in the Port of Gladstone, WICET provides 27 million tonnes per annum of new export capacity, with the potential for expansion to an incredible 120 million tonnes per annum. This industry-owned and privately funded model sets a new standard, allowing for essential coal transport infrastructure development without government funding. WICET aligns with the Queensland Ports Strategy, creates local employment opportunities, and supports community initiatives.
Proudly partnered with WICET for six years, ATQLD currently hosts two electrical apprentices, contributing to the production of qualified tradespeople. Together, we're shaping a brighter future!
